Thanks for the Reply. We would like to implement a SNMP agent in our
embedded device.
We have downloaded net-SNMP version 5.5 into our linux PC and followed the
instruction given to install the same.
We would like to know the following
1. How to use the Manager to do a simple query(Get command)
2. How to configure the Agent
We have gone through the docs provided in the net SNMP. We requires some
assistance to start .

You've not really told us anything about the platform your working on.
(Linux, Unix, OS/2 ... etc) And it's obvious that you haven't even read the
FAQ or INSTALL file that comes with the source.
>From someone else who compiles net-snmp on an embedded system - get some
experience in running it on a desktop linux system first. Any SNMP manager
should be able to connect to it.
Hopefully you'll have a better idea on what to after that,
