It's well worth noting that SNMP was *never* intended to respond to
broadcast SNMP requests.  There are many people that desire that
behavior so their manager can do broadcast requests and get many
responses (very useful for discovery), but the general belief from
everyone I've talked with at the IETF is that it's not technically legal
to the spec.  That being said, I doubt I could find a sentence that
prohibits it :-P
