The git is only supposed to be used sometimes as a home-link to CVS, or
wget, or apt-get. Other than these three Remote-File Repositories, I would
suggest using the output strings and queries derived from the
GIT_respository and pathing onto the MODULE that is needed through another
source directory. When I ran into this problem, I was downloading xslt, and
I hit an error in "git" - but luckily online through a search, I found the
same files available through an html version git repository.
Make sure that you try to suthenticate as the same or similar uid_gitrepos
and/or as anonymous or admin and such. I find that using macports and
xslack together works quite well in this process.
