Hi all

The problem I am facing is that, I am running the snmpconf script in order to
set up the snmpd.conf file, but the values I am receiving by using snmpset
(e.g for system Contact info) appear to be the default ones (e.g
[EMAIL PROTECTED]). The file is correctly created at the current directory which
I was working when I run snmpconf (/root) and it is obvious that for some
reason the deamon does not look for it.

The communication part of the protocol works ok, as I have checked it by using
the ethereal.

The ucd-snmp version I have installed is 4.2.6.

I believe that it is something very simple but I cannot find it. I would be
grateful if you could help me.

Thanks in advance,
Mike
