Hi people. We have Solaris system with installed net-snmp (it sends traps to SNMP manager installed on Unix machine).
In /var/adm/messages we often see next messages: May 18 11:12:51 gw.kubangsm.ru snmptrapd[3161]: [ID 702911 daemon.warning] 10.40.34.148: Enterprise Specific Trap (.0) Uptime: 37 days, 23:54:14.06, SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.5555.3.4.0 = STRING: "check .1.3.6.1.4.1.5555.5.123.1 60" Does this message say that there is any error? Or it simply means that some trap was sent? Why is it daemon warning?
