Good morning, I am currently starting practice with snmp and Net-SNMP. At this moment, I have really problems to distinguish between ucd and Net-SNMP.
On my Personal Computer, based Pentium M, I have installed a RedHat Linux. Kernel OS is : Linux version 2.4.21-4.ELsmp (gcc version 3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-20)) #1 SMP Packages rpm automatically installed are : net-snmp-devel-5.0.8-11 net-snmp-5.0.8-11 net-snmp-utils-5.0.8-11 Question 1 : I was not able to identify the exact name(s) of the dowload file(s) from your web site neither for such packages nor for v5.0.9 Question 2 : Do I need "ucd" package ? If yes, what are the download filename(s) ? Thank you for your useful help.
