Sorry - that option is new with the 5.1.x line.
The 5.0.9 equivalent would be

        snmpd -f -L -d

OK - so the master agent *is* seeing the registrations.
(I think - it's difficult to tell with that mass of debug output!)

Read the snmpd.conf(5) man page :-)
Look for the section on "agentPingInterval"
