Hi All, Due to limited option on a Solaris 8 system, I installed binary distribution of net-snmp-5.1.2. I got following error while running
/usr/local/sbin/snmpd ld.so.1: /usr/local/sbin/snmpd: fatal: libcrypto.so.0.9.7: open failed: No such file or directory I also have correct libcrypto.so.0.9.7 under /usr/local/ssl/lib: -rw-r--r-- 1 bin bin 1943752 Apr 17 2003 libcrypto.a lrwxrwxrwx 1 root other 14 Aug 30 13:46 libcrypto.so -> libcrypto.so.0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root other 18 Aug 30 13:46 libcrypto.so.0 -> libcrypto.so.0.9.7 -r-xr-xr-x 1 bin bin 1680952 Apr 5 2003 libcrypto.so.0.9.6 -r-xr-xr-x 1 bin bin 1329284 Apr 17 2003 libcrypto.so.0.9.7 -rw-r--r-- 1 bin bin 301916 Apr 17 2003 libssl.a lrwxrwxrwx 1 root other 11 Aug 30 13:46 libssl.so -> libssl.so.0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root other 15 Aug 30 13:46 libssl.so.0 -> libssl.so.0.9.7 -r-xr-xr-x 1 bin bin 916148 Apr 5 2003 libssl.so.0.9.6 -r-xr-xr-x 1 bin bin 236832 Apr 17 2003 libssl.so.0.9.7 Any idea where snmpd to find libcrypto.so file?
