D'oh - I hadn't got as far as Robert's explanation when I wrote this. If the agent versions match, then that's by far the more likely cause. RS> I'd also suggest bug report. We might be able to get it fixed in 5.2 RS> (due next month). This caching is handled properly (and much better than before) by the new "extend" mechanism that's in 5.2. If you weren't using the relocatable form of "exec", then I'd suggest you configure without the 'ucd-snmp/extensible' module completely. The "extend" module would cover the normal form of this automatically. But with the relocatable form of the directive, the new module changes the MIB output format (to make it legal SNMP, among other things!) But it might be worth a look anyway.
