Robert: The version of Net-SNMP is 5.1.2, and I am using the UCD api (v4) as produced by the mib2c script supplied with that version of Net-SNMP. The means to include the ieee802dot11 module is
./configure --with-mib-modules="dot11/ieee802dot11" Now, I surmised the process for placing modules in subdirectories off of the ./mibgroup directory. The file AGENT.txt does not give specific examples of using subdirectories, though it seems clear that this method has been used for various other modules. Nevertheless, the method appears to work, as the MIB name appears in the output from *make* where other modules are listed. While I tend to be verbose in documentation, I also tend to be thorough. This is the reason for my oft posted complaints regarding Net-SNMP documentation. Dave has been quite patient with me in this regard, and though he does occasionally seem annoyed, he has also recognised the benefit of my postings. I have not as of yet searched other modules for the occurance of similar *shutdown-* routines.
