I've tried under Linux > to find a kind of win32/net-snmp/net-snmp-includes.h but in vain. There isn't a seperate header file for Windows. All header files are applicable to all architectures. The *only* exception is 'net-snmp-config.h', which is tailored for each particular environment (either dynamically by "configure", or hand-crafted in the case of Windows). Everything else is used unchanged - relying on the settings in the 'net-snmp-config.h' file to control which bits are relevant for that particular architecture. > I really don't understand why they are differences between my net-snmp > Windows installation and my Linux one. Maybe the Windows experts can throw more light on that. But there's only one copy of the 'net-snmp-includes.h' file, which is just as applicable on Windows systems as it is on Linux, Solaris, *BSD, HP-UX, etc, etc, etc. Dave ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
