I'm running Solaris 2.8 Version 5.1.2. My NMS is polling a var which causes the net-snmp agent to spawn a "defunct" process. I'm persuing this with the NMS vendor to clarify what it is they poll. But clearly the net-snmp agent should not spawn a defunct process. I want to report this as a bug. Can someone point me to how I would do this?
