Are you sure you are running the new snmpd from 5.2.1? And if so, are you sure
it is picking up the right libraries? The best way to ensure both of these is
either (a) configure net-snmp to be static (--enable-static --disable-shared),
or (b) remove the previous package installed by Suse.
