Hi all

I want to send a trap with a object of hex string type.

The value of the hex string is "01-02-03-04". I tried to send this trap using
snmptrap like this :
snmptrap -v 2c 150.236.78.57 public '' .1.3.6.1.4.1.27.1 .1.3.6.1.4.1.27 x
"01020304"
but get the response
subidentifier 16909060 is too large ( > 255)

It seems that the snmptrap can only send one hex octet at one time. How can I
send a Hex string?

Thanks!

BR
Paul
