Hey All,

Back again with the question. I know some have suggested that the way to solve
the problem is to use context's. I just don't see how I can achive this.

Recap:
I assign a virtual IP to every device I proxy for (I proxy serial devices to
SNMP). So each serial device has a virtual address. I may have 10 identical
devices on one box I am proxying for. I need to write an agentx subagent that
will load a single mib for all 10 devices and give me the correct values.

I originally wanted to do this by knowing the ip address that was queried then I
could go to the correct device and get the correct value. There is no way to
know the address that was queried when the request gets to the subagent. So the
use of context's was suggested. Can anyone point me in the direction of some
docs on using contexts for this?

If not I was going to add the address (in some form) to one of the subagent
callback structs...I know not the best idea...but I an out of options.

Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks

 Glenn
