Is it possible to use a serial UART interface instead of the Ethernet link to communicate with a Net-SNMP agent ? Under the SNMP layer I will use a special Data Link layer. UDP/IP protocol is not implemented. The operation system is uClinux on an embedded platform. Is the SNMP transport module 'Unix' a possibility for solving this issue ? If yes, does an example exist ?
