The IETF isn't working on this, so at this point it's just 
an idea for implementation.  I can't imagine that 
WSDM would be mature enough to consider a 
serious contender for at least 3, maybe 5 years, if 
not longer.

Then again, someone has to be a guinea pig.  I just 
prefer to sit back until at least the second or third 
version has been approved and implemented.  How long 
before Cisco decides this is worthy of their time?  Seeing 
as how they have barely started to implement ssh2, 
I doubt WSDM will get in to IOS befor 2010, and even then, 
security folks won't ever want to see a router running 
some sort of web server just to serve up management 
and monitoring requests...
