Hi,
I am new to net-snmp.
I want to use the snmptrapd daemon & I want to run the following command:
usr/sbin/snmptrapd −L e −d 192.168.x.x:4097 2>&1 | tee /tmp/trapd.out
Instead, I got the following message:
Warning: no access control information configured.
This receiver will *NOT* accept any incoming notifications.
I've read several postings, & from what I've learned I need to configure the
snmptrapd.conf so that
disableAuthorization shows 'yes'
However, when I run snmpconf: I got the following files:
1: ./snmpd.conf
2: /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf
There is no snmptrapd.conf file in my system (Fedora 6).
Does this mean I have to create the snmptrapd.conf myself?
Can someone please kindly send me a sample of the snmptrapd.conf so that I
can refer to?
Thank you very much.
Regards,
hy
