Hi, I'm pretty new with snmp but everything works pretty fine with just one exception: My procfix command doesn't get executed and I dunno why.
Here's a little snippet of the corresponding snmpwalk: UCD-SNMP-MIB::prIndex.1 = INTEGER: 1 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prIndex.2 = INTEGER: 2 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prIndex.3 = INTEGER: 3 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prNames.1 = STRING: sshd UCD-SNMP-MIB::prNames.2 = STRING: dhclient3 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prNames.3 = STRING: ntpd UCD-SNMP-MIB::prMin.1 = INTEGER: 1 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prMin.2 = INTEGER: 1 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prMin.3 = INTEGER: 1 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prMax.1 = INTEGER: 100 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prMax.2 = INTEGER: 1 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prMax.3 = INTEGER: 3 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prCount.1 = INTEGER: 1 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prCount.2 = INTEGER: 1 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prCount.3 = INTEGER: 0 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrorFlag.1 = INTEGER: 0 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrorFlag.2 = INTEGER: 0 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrorFlag.3 = INTEGER: 1 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrMessage.1 = STRING: UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrMessage.2 = STRING: UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrMessage.3 = STRING: Too few ntpd running (# = 0) UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrFix.1 = INTEGER: 1 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrFix.2 = INTEGER: 1 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrFix.3 = INTEGER: 1 UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrFixCmd.1 = STRING: UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrFixCmd.2 = STRING: UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrFixCmd.3 = STRING: /etc/snmp/test.sh start You see ntpd is not running, the ErrorFlag is set and I set the ErrFix. Also the ErrFixCmd is set but this testscript doesn't get executed. What can be responsible for this problem? If I execute "sudo -u snmp /etc/snmp/test.sh start" everything is fine so there doesn't seem to be any kind of permission problem. Did I configure something wrong in my snmpd.conf? Here it is: createUser ALICE MD5 123456 DES rwuser ALICE syslocation away syscontact Root <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> proc sshd 100 1 proc dhclient3 1 1 proc ntpd 3 1 procfix ntpd /etc/snmp/test.sh start agentSecName ALICE defaultMonitors yes Am I missing something?
