I trust you mean '5.1.2' and '5.3.2.2' > while doing snmpwalk, these machines return diff results... > the host machine i use for snmpwalking has version 4.1.2. can this > difference cause this problem? No. This is purely down to the agent running on the target system > or i have to configure something to diplay all 9 mibs? I presume you are walking the 'sysORID' object? (you never actually say). The sysORTable was an idea that never really worked properly. It can provide an _indication_ of which MIBs are supported by a given agent, but it's typically not complete or reliable. What's more important is whether the agent can return the information that you are actually interested in. Try walking selected areas of the OID tree against each of the three agents. and see what results you get back. The likelihood is that later releases will probably include everything from the earlier ones (plus a bit more). I wouldn't take too much notice of what the sysORTable reports.
