Hi, I had tried the command line options like -Ls 2, -Ls 5. But I wasn't successfull in disabling the sys logs. In both cases debug logs(with LOG_DEBUG option) are getting printed.

See the section 'LOGGING OPTIONS' in the snmpcmd(1) man page. You can probably also handle this via the 'logOptions' config token. This is documented in the snmptrapd.conf(5) man page, though it appears to be more widely applicable.
