No, definitly it didn't make difference. I deactivated the firewall, antivirus
in windows xp pc and also uninstall window's snmp feature, antivirus and
deactivate the firewall in my virtual xp machine and nothing. So the problem
is not about proteccions, firewalls, etc.
I had seen in forums that net-snmp program, at least in windows, is related to
source code in c and also pearl, and you have to compile. I don't know anything
about that, I forgot everything about programming (I studied only 2 subjects in
my career related to programming 6 years ago) and I don't know if the problem
is related to those stuff. I only downloaded the .exe, installed it and tried
to register the agent like I mentioned in the previous mail.
Please, help me to figure out how to activate this program in my windows xp
computer, or definitly it does not work in windows, only in linux? (Just in
case, I have net-snmp working in a linux virtual machine, downloaded and
installed via sudo apt-get install snmp snmpd; but I need it in physical
Windows too).
