In RFC314 and RFC3826 is mentioned a value called "the salt" that is used to
originate the initialization vector, that will be used in the encryption and
decryption processes. What is the main concept of this value and I wonder if it
is another way to define it, different to "salt", perhaps another technical
word, because in spanish it doesn't make so much sense and I need to explain
this in a technical project I'm doing about snmpv3.
