A few years ago, probably late one Saturday night, I was on a social
media site (probably Facebook or Twitter) when an ad came to my
attention for a book called “ReThinking a Lot: The Design and Culture
of Parking" by Eran Ben-Joseph – and for a great price! I ordered it.
But when it arrived it was a "Why did I buy this?" moment. Looking
back at my YouTube output, it looks like I may have just released my
"2 Roads & 2 Roads" video. Was it the algorithms? Or pure coincidence?
I don't know, but I've since gotten rid of it.
Also, with the coming and going of history, parking lots may someday
become less prominent. I've heard it speculated that in the future,
vehicle ownership will become increasingly rare. If someone needs to
go somewhere, they'll call for a car with an app.
