yes there are plenty of examples of collaboration on the net; most of my 
projects are collaborative & online & as i understand it, it's this kind 
of collaboration that annie is interested in (i could be interpretting 
it wrong - annie?)

perhaps it's not that there is less online collaboration, but rather 
that there's so much more other stuff out there - like twitter & 
facebook - that clutters & confuses the issue of what collaboration is & 
makes the real collaboration less visible. a bit like how everyone used 
to say things were interactive even if it was just a hyperlink or 
something like that, so the truly interactive things were less visible & 
the word interactive became a bit meaningless.

from my perspective, there's certainly lots of online collaboration 
going on.
