Ah, Jim you must have missed last years news about the closure of the
ICA¹s new media and live arts department. In short, the ICA use to have a
net art programme, one of the few established institutions in the UK to do
so. Then they closed it down. The Director stated at the time that new media
art was not a compelling art form and therefore could not be prioritised.

Subject: Re: [NetBehaviour] Crisis_at_the_ICA

Does the ICA have any engagement with net art? What sort of engagement, if
any at all?
