no, i didn't miss it. but one never knows how the categories slip and slide.

so they currently have no engagement with net art whatsoever.

galleries in general should hire net artists who know how to make dynamite
sites for galleries and also involve net art in the galleries' sites.

a gallery's site is such a natural for net artists.

given what i've read of the ica, what the director means is he can't see how
new media art and net art can make any money. that also could be rectified.

Ah, Jim ­ you must have missed last years news about the closure of the
ICA¹s new media and live arts department. In short, the ICA use to have a
net art programme, one of the few established institutions in the UK to do
so. Then they closed it down. The Director stated at the time that new media
art was not a compelling art form and therefore could not be prioritised.
