Hi Dave

I know a place where some people might be really interested in using this
sort of HTML & CSS collage tool. As you said, a file upload for the images
would be nice, but what might be more functional for your end would be to
allow URL's for images. That way a user could host their own or farm images.

The reason I say this is because I pop in now and again on dump.fm - its an
image chatroom. Mostly people post images and combinations of images as you
would in a normal chatroom. I saw mostly because some users get wordy or
people talk a bit. For the most part though the images are either the
user's, found images, or reposted in new configurations from other user
posts. Where does this fit with your collage generator?

It's called bon.gs - I'm not sure who made it originally or set it up,
usertimb<http://dump.fm/timb>maybe (I think), and andrej
<http://dump.fm/andrej>was the first one I saw posting it regularly, but
anyway, its similar to your tool. It allows for someone to post and place
images from the web into a collage. The url's get long but they include all
of the instructions for creating the display kinda like some api's. I'll
post a shortened version of a recent one somebody made and then the actual
generated URL

Not sure if you'd find it interesting or not. Its another way to put
together collage on the web and pretty fun. I've seen some really great ones
in the past. To use it, click the square radio button up in the top right,
then add URL and move it around or tile. You can add as many as you want I
think and do just about anything. TIME WASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have fun
Bill
