What is this?

I'm cheating. I'm finding these fantastic images - yet they seem
familiar (maybe because I only bother to render images which
subconsciously are familiar). But who takes the credit for them? Uh,
yeah. Old hat... Fractals. But these seem to me a step beyond the
virtual generative worlds of ten years ago (not that I'm that familiar
with them)... But I'm just a household PC user and I can do this no
problem. I have an infinity of worlds at my disposal. All the worlds
are real mathematics, ma thematic,
