HI James, Dave
thanks for getting back so promptly. As I understand it Doron has both updated
the Wordpress install and used the backed up files. We thought that had sorted
things ( for instance the google results seemed to be slowly returning   to
normal) but no such luck...
This is the documentation from Dreamhost:

http://wiki.dreamhost.com/Troubleshooting_Hacked_Sites

it's probably straightforward if you're confident with these things and if it
wasn't so crucial one of us would sweat through it but we're neither of us
confident that we know exactly what we're doing and we obviously don't want our
beloved site to remain a menace to people...

If somebody is willing to take a look I will send the FTP log in...

cheers
michael

Hi Michael,

What type of server is it?

If it's a linux server I might be able to help.

What are they asking you to do?
If it involves ssh login and some manual CMS configuration etc I could probably
help... But I know very little about SQL databases so you might need someone
who does. Depends what they're asking you to do.

James
