*Subject:* Open call for residencies at Delfina & ArtSchool Palestine
Dear all,
I am sending this open call for artists and curators to a select group
of people - I hope that you can help us get the word out to UK-based
practitioners about this unique opportunity for a commission-based
residency in Palestine. Or, that you might consider applying yourself,
if its relevant to you.
Please find the details below.
Best wishes,
Aaron Cezar
Director, Delfina Foundation
*Open call for artists and curators for residencies at Delfina
Foundation and ArtSchool Palestine*
British Council in partnership with ArtSchool Palestine (ASP) and
Delfina Foundation (DF) are pleased to invite artists and curators from
the UK and Palestine to apply for *Points of Departure*, a programme of
research residencies, commissions and public platforms in the UK and

Points of Departure aims to encourage creative exchange between the UK
and Palestine through 8 two-month artistic and curatorial residencies at
ASP and DF in 2012. Six artists (three from the UK and three from
Palestine) will be selected to take part in commission-based
residencies. One curator from Palestine and one curator from the UK
will be selected to support the production and curation of a resultant
exhibition in 2013, which will be staged in the UK and throughout
Palestine. For more information and how to apply, please visit:
http://www.delfinafoundation.com/news.php#news249. Deadline: 10th March
2012 (for curators) and 16th March 2012 (for artists).
