Work Stipends for Media Art 2012 at the EDITH RUSS HAUS for Media Art
Dependent on the approval of the funds the EDITH-RUSS-HAUS for Media Art
offers three work stipends for the artistic development of new works
with new media (à 10.000 EUR)
The Stipend for Media Art of the Foundation of Lower Saxony at the
EDITH-RUSS-HAUS for Media Art supports a broad spectrum of media art
such as netbased installations, sound and media works dedicated to a
content-driven analysis of media.
* The stipend is meant for the production of a new project. You apply
with a proposal for the project.
* It is not required that the project / artwork be finished within the
six month stipend.
* The stipend lasts for six months (July-December 2012) and cannot be
extended. The artist is required to stay in Oldenburg for at least
one month during the duration of the stipend.
* There is an apartment for the artist in the site's guest house,
which can be reserved by appointment.
* The artist will be integrated into the site's activities and
required to participate in the site's program for instance with
lectures, workshops, artist discussions etc. - The dates and forms
of these presentations will be set by the artist together with the
EDITH-RUSS-HAUS for Media Art.
