Artist creates 3-D NYC maps that build a skyline to illustrate rich and
poor neighborhoods.

By Bruce Golding.

These dramatic 3-D images show the stark differences in wealth across
Manhattan, with the richest areas represented by massive blocks of green
that tower even higher than the city’s tallest skyscrapers.

The maps were created by artist and Internet researcher Nickolay Lamm,
who used demographic data to create a vividly uneven Emerald Isle of
haves and have-nots for the MyDeals.com Web site.
