Thanks Rob for the Wikipedia policy. I actually had no idea! That said, I remain committed to the idea that an artist (or any individual) should provide accurate autobiographical information on Wikipedia if they follow the general citation guidelines. It may be circumventing the so-called "conflict of interest" policy, but it is not in my opinion a form of vanity.
