it is pretty funny really - if they believe it's not possible to push
boundaries, or be innovative or risky in the areas of performance
capture, live streaming, or archives, then they are not very imaginative.
in my experience, " a free website for artists and audiences to create
and explore exciting new art, commissioned by us and shared around the
Whole Wide World" (how the space is described) is not at all an
innovative idea (apart from the phrase "commissioned by us"), & not
necessarily something that will push boundaries or take risks either ...
it will be interesting to see what meets their criteria & is deemed
worthy of funding, but i have to say it sounds a lot like the tate's
sudden invention of online performance in 2012 ;)

performative writing that a few people here are evolving - is inherently
"non-innovative" somehow??!!!!!! What am I missing??

That archiving, indeed the dead-sea archives that focus on links rather
than material/media of work, and live inside the earth, by being archives
are somehow inherently confined by un-pushable boundaries?
