Not sure what grub version I am using, but my menu.lst contains
a very simple:
title NetBSD 6.1 stable
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/netbsd-XEN3PAE_DOMU
I tried it without the '--type=netbsd' and still get the same error.
I wonder if it makes a difference that I am booting an amd64 kernel,
rather than an i386/PAE ?
