I have just tried it, but the dbus package was already installed (pkgin says “nothing to do”) and Blender continues to not work. Note that I have the dbus service set up too, it was one of the first things I set up after installing the system. I suspect the log messages I got from Blender were actually unrelated to the issue I’m going through, unfortunately. (But thank you for the suggestion!)
