My question is: for NetBSD, what can I do to capture all output
especially when it drops to ddb? The machine has a real serial port
and I have a usb to serial with pl2303 chipset, but it's also connected to
vga and taking photos from the screen to capture output doesn't really
work (any screen I get in future will be notshiny)
Basically what I want to do is to modify the installer image so it splits all
output to for example another device. Like, let's say I plug in two usb keys,
one with the installer one on, the other a blank fat32 formatted (would fat32
format be the easiest?) key and turn the computer on. I'd like the output
to be written to the key so there would be something to examine why the
installation process didn't work. it'd be great to have the dbg output
go there as well. Possible? or is there another way, maybe through serial
cable?
