Hi everybody, Allow me to firstly extend a warm welcome to everybody that have joined NetCAT 9.0! I am sure we are going to be a great team!
If anybody is particularly interested in leading a tribe, please let us know. If you haven't joined NetCAT yet, there is still time. The profiler tribe is in particular need of members with only one volunteer so far... I know that not everybody is interested in Java features, but there are two language independent tribes for your consideration: Version Control and Database. If none of the tribes appeal to you, you can still join with no specific tribe. It is possible to install the other features that you need from the old update center, even if those are not donated yet. Of course, there will be very little if any focus on bug fixes for those plugins. But that does not mean that we want to lose contact with the rest of the NetCAT community! This is reality. We would like to invite you to the NetBeans Community Acceptance Testing program for NetBeans 9.0, again. :) The first time we were optimistic novices in the Apache waters which resulted in great underestimation of what was still ahead of us. We learned our swimming lessons though and believe this time NetCAT can really sail. We are looking for enthusiastic NetBeans community members to test the NetBeans IDE version 9.0 before its GA release. This is the first NetCAT program under the Apache Incubator, and it marks a historic milestone in the life of NetBeans. Don't miss the opportunity to be a part of this initiative!
