I have read through the Git tests (really impressed with whoever put them together).
There is a JIRA case listed under (Clone using sftp:// method<http://netbeans-vm.apache.org/synergy/client/app/#/case/1445/suite/2203/v/1> Test Case) and an old bugzilla case under Commit<http://netbeans-vm.apache.org/synergy/client/app/#/case/1455/suite/2204/v/1> Test Case are these items I should flag up, ignore or test? The first task is to read our respective test specifications, which can be found at: http://netbeans-vm.apache.org/synergy/client/app/#/tribe/32/view We are scheduled to start testing on Monday, March 19th (a week from today). Unfortunately since you weren't replying to email we weren't sure you were going to be active in NetCAT this year, therefore other people stepped up and volunteered to test SVN and Git. Would you be OK testing CVS? We still need help in that area. It is my understanding that the test spec for CVS uses an existing CVS repository in sourceforge, therefore you don't need your own CVS repository. Please let me know. Thanks! CVS 2. Subversion 3. Mercurial 4. Git There are test specs linked on the above page for each VCS system. I have access to Git and Mercurial repositories I can use to test. Can you guys let me know which VCS system you guys have access to? If possible/practical, I think each one of us could take 1 test spec each, and go through all the tests, so one of us would be responsible for CVS, another one for SVN, someone else for Mercurial, etc. Of course there are only three of us and there are four test specs, maybe we could split up the fourth test spec among the three of us, let me know what you think Jira issues regarding version control can be found at: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-217?filter=12343296&jql=project%20%3D%20NETBEANS%20AND%20component%20in%20(%22versioncontrol%20-%20Code%22%2C%20%22versioncontrol%20-%20Git%22%2C%20%22versioncontrol%20-%20History%22%2C%20%22versioncontrol%20-%20Mercurial%22%2C%20%22versioncontrol%20-%20Subversion%22)%20ORDER%20BY%20priority%20DESC%2C%20updated%20DESC<https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-217?filter=12343296&jql=project%20%3D%20NETBEANS%20AND%20component%20in%20%28%22versioncontrol%20-%20Code%22%2C%20%22versioncontrol%20-%20Git%22%2C%20%22versioncontrol%20-%20History%22%2C%20%22versioncontrol%20-%20Mercurial%22%2C%20%22versioncontrol%20-%20Subversion%22%29%20ORDER%20BY%20priority%20DESC%2C%20updated%20DESC> As far as I can tell, there was only one issue fixed in this release: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-217 Thanks both of you for your help, David On Wed, Mar 7, 2018 at 6:54 PM, David R.
