Hello people,
now that Eric has branched for 12.0 release and the first Beta
candidate is available we can start the official certification of the
Apache NetBeans IDE 12.0.
Therefore I have created the corresponding test run [1] which will
be open until 4th of May but although it looks like a plenty of time we
would like to encourage every active NetCAT participant listening on
this mailing list to not hesitate long and contribute by testing some of
the NetBeans features, smaller or bigger.

Ideally we need to cover the new functionality [2] which was added
since the last version 11.0. Helping is easy! Just login to Synergy, go
to the test run [1], create an assignment for you and then begin the
testing by clicking the Start button. Synergy will navigate you. Your
task is to perform the steps shown and then click Pass or Failed. No
rocket science, right? :)
