Flashing ROMs is *DANGEROUS.* It's quite obvious that any failure of
the flash process could cause serious problems, so don't proceed until
you know *exactly* what you should be doing. If you find the
instructions ambiguous or unclear, get clarification before going
ahead.
If you didn't understand which of the two files to use, proceeding
meant you had a 50% chance of trashing your ROMs, not the sort of odds
I'd like to play :(
