If ever there was a award for _the_ most annoying bug, Microdot would get the trophy. Why? Picture this: You log on. You get your e-mails & collect the latest news headings from your favorite newsgroups. You download the bodies of the news items that look interesting, noting that Microdot doesn't differentiate between which items have been fully downloaded & those that haven't. You log off. You attempt to read the news items that you fully downloaded, but which ones did you download? You accidentally double click on an item that you didn't fully download. What Microdot should do then, is tell you that TCP/IP isn't active, but sometimes it doesn't. It attempts to log on to the news server. The abort button doesn't work. Only way out is to reset. As a result, often this will mean that any e-mails you downloaded but didn't read, will be lost because you didn't exit properly. Extreamly p***ed off! )-: This is all made worse by the fact that it is only an occasional bug which only raises it's ugly head when you least expect it. To whom it may concern, pleeeeease sort it out for the next version for the sake of my precarious sanity. -- ------------------------------------------------ Using A1200 (rev 1B) with Blizzard 1230/50, 16Mb, OS3.0, setpatch 43.6 MagicXpress MX56VX via IOBlix 1200 serial card http://www.free4all.co.uk/
