Both of the reply-ees have given what I would have said if I'd been
here quicker, except that if you have the dock bar without any window
borders then the MUI option won't work.
I did it by
1) switching on window borders in NCprefs
2) Set MUI to save windows on exit
3) Position your bar and exit (the position gets saved)
4) Run again, and switch off borders.
Hey presto, you now can't move the bar from it's new position (even if
you want to) without switching on borders again.
Of course, you can switch on the MUI snapshot button, but either way
you'll need to ensure the borders are switched on first.
I'll probably find you don't have the borders switched off anyway now
