You should never use x.x.x.0 or x.x.x.255 for individual machines,
these addresses have special meanings. Only use 1-254.

100.100.100.* is not one of the address blocks reserved for private
use. You should be using

192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.2 etc. for a small network (<255 machines).
