This is fairly common behaviour for most e-mail programmes, such as  Eudora
(PC) and Pine (PC and UNIX). The original sender is lost when forwarding
mail and the attachments are too.  You cannot expect software to do
everything for you or else it becomes Microsplurge, so big and complex that
noone can debug it.
