*I resent that.*

I am fortunate enough to quite happily afford to buy a PC, but I
haven't got one. Why? Because I have to use PC's at work, running all
sorts of versions of Windoze, 3.0 up to 98 and NT, and I hate them
all. I used to have to use them at Uni, and made a point of using the
Sparc stations whenever I could instead. The Wintel system is
unfriendly, slow, unresponsive, inefficient, crash prone, badly laid
out, etc, (I could go on...)

There's no user feedback such as we are privileged to get on ML's such
as this. You do it the way Microsoft want you to and if you dont like
it, tough. *Here* we can talk to the actual programmers who offer
friendly advice and explanations, take in suggestions and offer ideas
for discussion. And you moan about it.. huh. So why do *you* use
your Amiga then, if all the companies and software are so bad?

The people who've bought their machines "jewellery" are far from
unable to buy a PC. The 700 they have spent on a PPC card and a
BVision would have bought them a high spec PC. But instead they buy
Amiga kit because *they want to*, not because of some theory of yours.

If all you want to contribute to the Amiga market is to annoy the few
developers we have and insult the users, I'd prefer if you gave your
Amiga away and went with the PC permanently.
