Hello Chris,
I just read a very good article about how to speed up Internet usage.
The magazine covers all three major OS worlds, Windows, MacOS and
Linux. There is some very nice software which will make use of the WWW much
easier. Such as external search engines, which can be preconfigured while
you are offline, HotList Converters (hey, we have a rather nice one, which
isn't developed anymore, it seems [URL-Manager
http://www-student.etechnik.fh-aachen.de/~kmel/download.html]).
If CManager could import and export hotlists in different formats,
(netscape/Mozilla, IExplorer, Opera, AWeb, IBrowse, Voyager), this would be
nice. Also, a special group could be created in CManager (named "Hot")
which stores really "hot" pages instead of "only" bookmars. This group
could be reflected as a HTML file, which is always up to date and you could
make it your homepage to travel directly !
Also, such programs like WebFerret at http://www.ferretsoft.com/ or
Copernic at http://www.copernice.com would enhance NetConnect greatly.
I would also welcome CManager to be able to output an MSQL script or talk
directly to MSQL (using msql.library i.e.) to export CManager data into
an mSQL database.
Thank you.
