I may have got the wrong idea here, but:
In ContactManager, use the menu Database/Import and there are no less
than 14 formats to choose from.

Well I don't actually use CM, but I have got my bookmarks as my homepage
without any fiddling. Bookmarks in V (not using CM, anyway) are saved as
HTML.
