Netconnect 2 is a superb product, however I'm starting asking myself if it
will be worth upgrading to nc3... let's suppose I buy it..
tcp/ip stack - I will buy AmigaOS 3.5, so I will have miami and genesis. I
don't know which is better but miami will let me use ssl with aweb.
browsers - I really love aweb :) I tried v3 a little so I can't judge it
very seriously, however even if it has not crashed and if it fixes all the
bugs
I don't like it very much. the new buttons are really ugly compared to the
old ones and the teardrop class is IMHO ugly (with all the respect to the
person that made it). btw don't flame me, as I said I used it very little
;)
irc - what have been introduced with amirc3 except the coloured text? If
it's the only new features I don't know if it's really worth upgrading...
mail - I use yam.
news - microdot is not really an excellent product but even the current
version is enough for me atm. so how much it will be improved in the next
version?
ftp - after installing DOpus I found myself using more frequently dopusftp
than amftp (which I found having some problems with resume that dopusftp
don't have)
cmanager - maybe this is the only program I would like to see upgraded :)
x-arc - I used it just a couple of times.
all the others - never used.
To make it short I would like to have some more info on nc3 to see if it
will be worth upgrading...
